Protecting Your Irrigation System
Pressure Reducing Valve
Pressure Reducing Valve (PRV)
High pressure can rupture pipes and damage valves and sprinkler heads.
Conserve Water and Save Money! – By adding a PRV to your lawn sprinkler system, your system’s water pressure will be reduced. Our technicians will install and set your PRV to the pressure for which the sprinkler valves and heads are designed and rated. Adjusted pressure will reduce “misting,” allowing droplets of water to form. These droplets will land on your landscape instead of misting into the atmosphere.
- Your system will be more efficient and the reduced pressure will extend the life
of all the components. - Please note that depending on demand, city water pressure can fluctuate in any given area.
